Not too long ago, Indian-Canadian actor Lisa Ray has, in a social media submit, slammed Air India for denying a medical waiver for a ticket she needed to cancel. She stated she needed to cancel her journey since her 92-year-old father was unwell, however her cancellation charge was not waived primarily based on a health care provider’s letter. The Tata-owned service stated it’s wanting into the matter.
The 52-year-old actor, who had booked her ticket via a third-party journey agent, shared a response from them saying no waiver was out there. Airline sources say she had a non-refundable ticket as a consequence of which the agent had refused her the waiver, and never the airline.
