A contemporary controversy has emerged from the forthcoming ICC Champions Trophy in Pakistan and Dubai, with India reportedly objecting to ‘Pakistan’ (the title of the host nation) being printed on the group’s jersey. India are set to play their Champions Trophy video games in Dubai, although Pakistan stay the official hosts for the match. Whereas a hybrid-model was accepted by the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Worldwide Cricket Council after the Board of Management for Cricket in India’s refusal to ship its group to Pakistan, the host title of the jersey has triggered a contemporary row.
“BCCI is bringing politics into cricket, which is not at all good for the game. They refused to travel to Pakistan. They don’t want to send their captain (to Pakistan) for the opening ceremony, now there are reports that they don’t want the host nation’s (Pakistan) name printed on their jersey. We believe that the world governing body (ICC) will not let this happen and support Pakistan,” the PCB official, on situation of anonymity, advised the company.

The BCCI did not alter its stance over the refusal to ship Group India to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy, regardless of nice push by the PCB. Ultimately, the Pakistan board needed to conform to India’s phrases, although the brand new settlement would stop PCB from sending its group to India for ICC occasions sooner or later as properly.
With the Champions Trophy roughly a month away from its begin, contemporary controversies proceed to make headlines.
